Are dentures right for you?

Dentures are removable substitutes for missing natural teeth and are supported by your mouth structure or remaining teeth. Dentures are a popular cost-effective choice for missing teeth. We offer three different types of denture solutions.

Removable Full Denture

These are used if you have lost all your teeth in either your upper or lower jaw (or even both). The denture will replace the missing teeth and be supported by the gum ridges, lips, and cheeks.

Removable Partial Denture

This is used when a patient still has one or more natural teeth remaining. The denture will replace the missing teeth and be held in place by an acrylic or metal framework with some clasps that surround the remaining teeth. One of our qualified dentists can help you to choose the right option.

All on 4

The All on 4 dental implants are an advanced procedure that allows an arch of teeth to be supported by four implants. All on 4 has become a popular alternative to traditional dentures and is a quick and minimally invasive procedure that can produce beautiful results.

Maintaining your dentures

Even if you have full dentures, it is still very important to have regular check-ups with your dentist. We check that your dentures continue to fit correctly and we also examine the surfaces of your cheeks, tongue, gums and palate for abnormalities and cancer checks.

Looking after your dentures:

1) Brush your dentures daily

2) Soak your dentures daily with a cleaning solution to remove bacteria and disinfect your dentures.

3) Leave your dentures out at night.

4) Visit your dentist regularly.
